We are pleased to announce the successful completion of our annual System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2® Type II examination across Turbot Guardrails, Turbot Pipes, and Turbot Guardian (our newest product, bringing visibility and control over your AI coding agents).
The SOC 2 examination, developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), provides an independent assessment of an organization's controls relevant to security, availability, and confidentiality. Our SOC 2 Type II report covers a 12-month period and evaluates the effectiveness of those controls throughout that timeframe.
At Turbot, earning and preserving our customers' trust remains our top priority. Our operations, product, and engineering teams continue to design, architect, and develop our products with security as a foundational principle. Over the past year, we have:
- Completed annual third-party penetration testing across Guardrails, Pipes, and Guardian
- Upheld our CIS Benchmark Certification
- Passed multiple Well-Architected audits with our cloud partners
- Participated in and met requirements for our enterprise customer security audits
- Continued our commitment to privacy under GDPR, CCPA, and the Data Privacy Framework
Our consistent adherence to SOC 2 supports our customers' own compliance requirements and reflects how we operate year-round, not just at audit time.
Our annual SOC examinations are conducted each April, with reports available by mid May. Everything is summarized on the Turbot Security page: the SOC 3 report is published there for public download, and customers and prospective customers can request the full SOC 2 Type II report under MNDA from the same page.
