The Customer Support Lead will be responsible for providing support coverage within the US Pacific Time Zone, extending our existing support team. The Customer Support Lead will be expected to work directly with customers to answer questions regarding the use of Turbot software, configuration of new policies and settings, as well as diagnose and troubleshoot issues customers are facing with the product. The Customer Support Lead will also work with the development team to document bugs, create issues in GitHub, prioritize resolution activities, and manage the teams adherence to SLAs.
As a Tech Writer and Product Evangelist at Turbot, you’ll join an exciting, fast-paced, rapidly growing team of technologists focused on reimagining the way that IT Operations are delivered for software defined infrastructure in the public cloud. Turbot's software automates the best practice architecture, configuration and operation of cloud resources, networks, security, IAM and more. Clear description, definition and communication of those capabilities with both customers (help and documentation) and our prospective customers (blogging, whitepapers) is critical to our success.
This wide ranging role will lead Turbot's documentation and communication efforts. The ideal candidate will have the technical strength to understand and demonstrate Turbot in various environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google, Linux, Windows, Databases, CI/CD, etc.) and a passion for teaching users our concepts and how to make the most of those tools. Finding simple ways to explain and demonstrate the value of our integrated architecture and automation is critical.
