TL;DR? We've got you covered.
Launch Week 12 expanded Turbot Guardrails across new clouds, new capabilities, and a completely redesigned experience, all while running alongside RSAC 2026 in San Francisco.
The new Guardrails experience for preventive security
A completely redesigned Guardrails interface built for prevention. Dark mode, guided onboarding, impact visualization, side-panel workflows, and a modern design language that makes understanding and improving your preventive posture intuitive. The new experience includes integrated chat, in-product documentation matched to your installed version, and a recommendation engine that shows you exactly which controls to deploy next.
Runtime prevention for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Guardrails now provides runtime prevention for OCI with 32 resource types, 178 controls, and continuous monitoring. Misconfigurations are detected and auto-remediated in seconds, bringing the same prevention-first approach that powers AWS, Azure, and GCP to Oracle Cloud environments.
Preventive security for Azure
Discover, benchmark, and simulate your Azure preventive posture. CIS v5.0 benchmarks, deterministic objective matching across built-in policies, authentication methods, and authorization controls, plus Azure Policy simulation. Test policy changes against real activity before deploying to production.
Preventive security for GCP
Discover, benchmark, and simulate your GCP preventive posture. Organization Policy constraints, default constraints, managed policies, and custom policies, all mapped to security objectives with deterministic matching and simulation support across your GCP organization hierarchy.
Preventive security for GitHub
Discover, benchmark, and simulate your GitHub preventive posture across organization settings, repository configurations, and rulesets. CIS benchmarks map your current settings to security objectives, showing exactly where your GitHub environment stands and what to tighten.
Connect your SIEM to simulate preventive policies
Connect AWS CloudTrail Lake or Splunk Enterprise to Guardrails, and your real event data flows directly into the Policy Simulator. See what your preventive controls actually block, understand exactly why an action was denied, and test policy changes against real activity before deploying. When a developer gets an "AccessDenied" error, the simulator shows the full evaluation chain in seconds instead of support tickets.
Launch Week 12 B-sides
Beyond the daily announcements, we shipped a complete CIS benchmark refresh across AWS, Azure, and GCP Guardrails mods, replaced the monolithic Approved controls with granular Allowed controls for independent enforcement per objective, added three new Azure mods and expanded AWS and Azure resource type coverage, brought the full product documentation and mod reference directly into the Guardrails console, added AWS Bedrock and Azure OpenAI as AI providers, and shipped new capabilities across Pipes, Steampipe, and Powerpipe. The community contributed new tables, compliance fixes, and SDK improvements, and we saw great content from practitioners exploring prevention-first security.
And that's a wrap!
Launch Week 12 brought preventive security to OCI, deepened coverage for Azure, GCP, and GitHub, connected SIEM data to the Policy Simulator, and delivered a completely new Guardrails experience designed around prevention. Whether you're managing one cloud or many, Guardrails now gives you the tools to discover what you're preventing, understand where gaps exist, simulate changes safely, and enforce controls at runtime, across every major cloud provider.
