Import and sync an Azure tenant
Import and sync a GCP organization
Monday July 22: Guardrails + ServiceNow; CIS remediation for Azure, GCP
You could already populate the ServiceNow CMDB with Guardrails' discovery of AWS, Azure, and GCP resources. In Automated cloud discovery into ServiceNow import sets we provide another approach for enterprises whose preferred integration pattern is import sets.
And you could already get to green with real-time remediation for AWS CIS v3.0.0, now you also can do that for Azure CIS v2.0.0 and GCP CIS v2.0.0 too.
Tuesday July 23: The Guardrails Hub and Policy Packs
The new Guardrails Hub gathers detailed reference data for thousands of mods, resources, policies, and controls across all supported cloud service providers: AWS, Azure, GCP, ServiceNow, Kubernetes and Turbot.
Policies are the primary configuration language of Guardrails. Policy Packs are the heart of the Guardrails Hub. They are targeted collections of these policies that work together to achieve specific control objectives.
Wednesday July 24: New Flowpipe mods for tagging and FinOps, interaction in the terminal
It's good to detect when resources aren't tagged according to your standard, and even better to fix those errors — interactively, or automatically. Enter three new Flowpipe detect-and-correct mods for AWS, Azure, and GCP. Define and enforce tagging standards for all the clouds.
You could already detect and correct costly configuration errors with 29 FinOps workflows for AWS. Now double down with 24 for Azure and 22 for GCP.
The demos for these new detect-and-correct mods showcase Flowpipe's new ability to run interactive workflows in your terminal, as well as in Slack, MSTeams, or email.
Thursday July 25: Pipes import and sync for AWS / Azure / GCP
You asked, we delivered. Now it's easy to import all the accounts from an AWS organization, all the subscriptions from an Azure tenant, and all the projects from a GCP organization. The structures — of OUs, management groups, and folders — map to connection folders so Pipes administrators can delegate permissions accordingly. Pipes also creates aggregators for the mapped connection folders and, crucially, syncs changes from the clouds.
The B-sides
These were the Launch Week 5 hits, but plenty of other good things happened during this cycle. Check the B-sides for details!
And that's a wrap!
The announcements this week are individually exciting, but the Turbot story is bigger than the sum of its parts. Our products work together to deliver cloud security and intelligence with incomparable breadth, depth, power, speed, and versatility. And there's more to come. Enjoy the current batch of new products and features, let us know how it goes and stay tuned for our next Launch Week in a few months!
